Social Media Manager
We're looking for someone to give Sakinah a voice, to tell our story in a way that feels honest, beautiful, and true to the deen. You'll be the first person most of our community ever hears from.
What you'll do
- Own our voice across Instagram, TikTok, and X, calm, sincere, and unmistakably Sakinah.
- Plan and ship a steady content calendar: short videos, carousels, and reminders that speak to marriage with intention.
- Grow an engaged community of sisters, brothers, and walis, and reply to them with adab.
- Turn our principles into shareable moments without ever drifting into dating-app energy.
- Watch what lands, report what's working, and adjust the plan month to month.
What we're looking for
- A practising Muslim who understands our community and our boundaries.
- A real eye for short-form video and design, you can show us work you're proud of.
- Clear, warm writing in English. Arabic or other community languages are a plus.
- Self-directed and consistent. We're a small team; you'll own this end to end.
- Bonus: experience growing an account from a small following to a real audience.
